The short version
- We collect your voice recording, your child's first name and age, and whether you have an active subscription. That is essentially all of it.
- Your recording is sent to MiniMax, our voice and story provider, to create your voice and narrate stories.
- We do not sell your data, and there are no advertising or tracking SDKs in Tuck.
- Deleting a voice in the app deletes the clone at MiniMax, your original recording, and every story narrated in it — from the app, in one tap.
1. Who we are
Tuck is made by VentureLK LLC. In this policy, "Tuck", "we" and "us" mean VentureLK LLC. You can reach a human at tuck@pgintel.dev.

What Tuck does not collect
- No advertising identifiers, ad SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs.
- No location, contacts, photos, or camera access.
- No payment card details — Apple handles payment, and we never see the card.
- No email address or password is required to use Tuck. Your account is anonymous by default.
3. Your voice
When you add a voice, Tuck uploads the recording to our storage and passes it to MiniMax (minimax.io), the provider that builds the synthetic voice and generates the narration. MiniMax processes the recording to create and host the voice model used for your stories.
Record only your own voice, or the voice of an adult who has agreed to it. Do not upload a recording of anyone who has not given you permission, and do not upload a recording of a child. Voices created from recordings you had no right to use will be removed.
Your voice is used for one purpose: narrating stories inside your copy of Tuck. It is not shared with other users, not used to train a general-purpose model by us, and not sold.
4. Children
Tuck is designed to be set up and operated by an adult — a parent, grandparent, or guardian. The account holder must be an adult. Children listen to Tuck; they do not create accounts, record voices, or make purchases.
The only information about a child that Tuck holds is a first name and an age, supplied by the adult, and used to personalise the story. We ask for nothing else about the child — no surname, no birthday, no photograph, no contact details — and there is no way for a child to share information with anyone through Tuck.
5. Who processes data for us
- MiniMax — creates the synthetic voice from your recording, and generates story text and narration.
- Supabase — hosts our database, our storage, and our server functions.
- RevenueCat — records whether your subscription is active, so entitlements survive a reinstall.
- Apple — processes payment and manages your subscription.
These providers act on our instructions for the purposes above. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
6. How long we keep things
- Your voice recording and the voice built from it — until you delete the voice, or ask us to.
- Narrated audio — cached while the voice exists, so replays are free; deleted with the voice.
- Your child's first name and age — held on your device; removed when you delete the app or change it in Tuck.
- Subscription records — retained while your subscription is active and for as long as we need them for tax and accounting.
7. Deleting your data
In the app, right now
Open Voice Library, choose a voice, and delete it. That single action:
- deletes the cloned voice held at MiniMax;
- deletes the original recording you made;
- deletes every story already narrated in that voice; and
- deletes the voice's records from our database.
Deleting the app from your device removes your child's name and age and everything else stored locally.
To erase your whole account and everything attached to it, email tuck@pgintel.dev from the device you use Tuck on and ask us to delete it. We will action it and confirm.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email tuck@pgintel.dev and we will help. We do not charge for this and we will not make the app worse for you because you asked.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with per-account access rules, so one account cannot read another's voices or stories. No system is perfect; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
10. International transfer
Our providers operate internationally, so your recording and story text may be processed on servers outside your country, including where MiniMax operates. By using Tuck you agree to that processing for the purposes described above.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app.
